Two of the orthopaedic trainees from Edinburgh - Joe Esland and Rosie Hackney - will be going to visit the Mzuzu unit again to keep an eye on some of the projects we have going on and to see if there is anything else the local team feel we could help with.

Projects at the moment include looking at how many cases are treated each year, a better review of the case mix, a look at how outpatient cases are organised and prioritised, and a look at how long patients are currently waiting for surgery.
